pride and prejudice moment
"Think only of the past as its remembrance gives you pleasure."

I want to do something fun on my blog so here is my attempt - movie moments. I chose this one because, well I mean come on, doesn't every girl just sit and dream that this would/ could happen to her...the beautiful misty morning, the flowing cape in the breeze, the rising sun, the most intoxicating piano ever heard on the face of the earth...perfect.

great idea. love the movie clips. for me, it's all about the flutter. every girl needs a little flutter in her life and darcy does it the BEST!!!

I am a sucker for Jane Austen. I am afraid to admit I've seen the entire 8 hrs of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth. I agree though that a good flutter does it for me too!

I totally agree Sherrie! I love this clip. I love how Mr. Darcy had this determined look in his face and his coat is flapping as he walks. He is definately a man on a mission! I love it!

Can I watch this again and again? Sherrie - this is my favorite movie moment. When ever I watch this movie I play that part at least twice...and I get the chills each time. Thanks for posting this.

as much as I do love colin, this guy does a great job as darcy and the more I watch it the more I fall in love with him and begin to forget about firth. is that wrong? i mean, this guy just does it soooo well!!!

colin firth, this guy (matthew macfadyen) - i think the genius is simply the character himself. hats off to austen and her incredible character development that draws us in whether we're reading or watching the characters ;)

Most romantic movie scene EVER. (And that's saying a lot with no kiss involved!)
I must've watched this scene about 40 times since I've seen the movie. Sigh.
