the bucketlist review

i wanted to highlight a movie that most people probably didn't see in the theater, but i did. i'm so not a big fan of jack nicholson, (except for a few good men) but thought this movie looked innocent enough.

i liked that it was a movie that really hit home for me in the sense that no matter who you are or where you come from the most important part of living is to really live. experience new things, meet new people and be happy while doing it. i loved that theme about this movie. on a side note i also loved that they went to mt. everest (my no. 1 dream) - not necessarily to climb it, but to go there and see it, smell it and experience it.

i think this movie - although it didn't get great reviews - is a good renter on a lazy night. i admit i shed a few tears along the way, and one scene literally laughed my butt off (you'll know it when you see it), and overall just came away with a renewed feeling that people should not curl up into a ball and accept the bad things in life. get out there and be somebody and do something, live your life while you still have time.

where would I be without your moviemoments? we were so excited when we saw previews for this but heard that it was a major flop (granted that opinon was from US Weekly), and were bummed because we had planned on renting it. THANKS for clarifying this flick - we will be moving it to the top of our que!!!!

I just came over here to see that hot picture of Indy and to watch the trailer a million more times...sigh. I esp can't wait for the legos version to be released this summer.
